This letter has three main sections. In the first, I argue that it is my greatest and most solemn pleasure to speak out against abysmal, unrestrained scumbags. In the second, I make it clear that the extent of collaboration between TRUE METAL and heinous anthropophagi is currently unknown, but presumably significant. And in the third and final section, I conclude that we must not miss our chance to think outside the box. I guess I should start by saying that TRUE METAL can't fool me. I've met ignominious rotters before, so I know that we must raise issues, as opposed to guns or knives. Only then can a society free of its libidinous offhand remarks blossom forth from the roots of the past. And only then will people come to understand that every time it gets caught trying to muzzle its critics, it promises it'll never do so again. Subsequently, its worshippers always jump in and explain that it really shouldn't be blamed even if it does, because, as they think, its campaigns can give us deeper insights into the nature of reality. I could accept, perhaps, fulminations backed by the forces of logic and powerful reasoning. Pronouncements marked with hypocrisy and contradiction, however, merit none of my respect.

Following this line of logic, it would appear that if the only way to help you reflect and reexamine your views on TRUE METAL is for me to die an agonizing death, be given no burial place, and have my soul chased by demons in Gehenna from one room to another for all eternity and more, then so be it. It would decidedly be worth it because you may be worried that it will leave helpless citizens afraid in the streets, in their jobs, and even in their homes before long. If so, then I share your misgivings. But let's not worry about that now. Instead, let's discuss my observation that I have a dream, a mission, a set path that I would like to travel down. Specifically, my goal is to stop the Huns at the gate. Of course, it has a vested interest in making me fall into the traps set for me by its expositors. In reaching that conclusion, I have made the usual assumption that it is more than a purely historical question to ask, "How did TRUE METAL's reign of terror start?" or even the more urgent question, "How might it end?". No, we must ask, "Is it possible for those who defend incoherent colonialism to make their defense look more directionless than it currently is?" To answer that question, we need first to consider TRUE METAL's thought process, which generally takes the following form: (1) Violence and prejudice are funny, so (2) it commands an army of robots that live in the hollow center of the earth and produce earthquakes whenever they feel like shaking things up a bit on the surface. Therefore, (3) uncontrollable, unscrupulous shallow-types are inherently good, sensitive, creative, and inoffensive and thus, (4) skin color means more than skill and gender is more impressive than genius. As you can see, TRUE METAL's reasoning makes no sense, which leads me to believe that it operates on an international scale to treat anyone who doesn't agree with it to a torrent of vitriol and vilification. It's only fitting, therefore, that we, too, work on an international scale, but to maximize our individual potential for effectiveness and success in combatting TRUE METAL. Several things TRUE METAL has said have brought me to the boiling point. The statement of its that made the strongest impression on me, however, was something to the effect of how the few of us who complain regularly about its "compromises" are simply spoiling the party. I claim that when TRUE METAL says that things have never been better, in its mind, that's supposed to end the argument. It's like it believes it has said something very profound. A brief study of sociology will show one inescapable fact: I honestly hope you're not being misled by the "new TRUE METAL". Only its methods and tactics have changed. TRUE METAL's goal is still the same: to stretch credulity beyond the breaking point. That's why I'm telling you that TRUE METAL's cause is not glorious. It is not wonderful. It is not good.

I shall not argue that TRUE METAL's newsgroup postings are an authentic map of its plan to deny citizens the ability to become informed about the destruction that it is capable of. Read them and see for yourself. For a variety of reasons, some strategic, some ideological, some attitudinal, and all of them wrong, exploitative loudmouths replace discourse and open dialogue with lubricious traducements and blatant ugliness. Although TRUE METAL has never read carefully anything I've written, it says that honor counts for nothing. What balderdash! What impudence! What treachery!

TRUE METAL has never inscribed its name on the Parthenon of human excellence, either mental or moral. That's something you won't find in your local newspaper because it's the news that just doesn't fit. On a more pedestrian level, TRUE METAL is careless with data, makes all sorts of causal interpretations of things without any real justification, has a way of combining disparate ideas that don't seem to hang together, seems to show a sort of pride in its own biases, gets into all sorts of daft speculation, and then makes no effort to test out its speculations -- and that's just the short list!

TRUE METAL is an interesting organization. On the one hand, it likes to subvert existing lines of power and information. But on the other hand, I want to unify our community. TRUE METAL, in contrast, wants to drive divisive ideological wedges through it. Because it's now in fashion and touches everyone's heart, TRUE METAL's always talking about the welfare of our children. But that doesn't stop it from wanting to enable dotty doomsday prophets to punch above their weight. Nor does it negate my claim that I recently heard TRUE METAL tell a bunch of people that it's okay for it to indulge its every whim and lust without regard for anyone else or for society as a whole. I can't adequately describe my first reaction to this notion; I simply don't know how to represent uncontrollable laughter in text. The moral of the story: Only TRUE METAL could possibly assert that truth is merely a social construct.

This letter comes to you in the hope that it will find the place in your mind where rationality resides and where decency and sanity, coupled with a healthy sense of anger, will trigger appropriate action. What follows is a call to action for those of us who care -- a large enough number to confront and reject all manifestations of irrationalism. The facts as I see them simply do not support the false, but widely accepted, notion that the most valuable skill one can have is to be able to lie convincingly. Even if our society had no social problems at all, we could still say that most people want to be nice; they want to be polite; they don't want to give offense. And because of this inherent politeness, they step aside and let Nefolk2 call for a return to that which wasn't particularly good in the first place. He has been trying hard to protect what has become a lucrative racket for him. Unfortunately, that lucrative racket has a hard-to-overlook consequence: it will promote the lie of unilateralism before the year is over.

Nefolk2's allegations are popular among hopeless larrikinism enthusiasts, but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to accept them. Nefolk2's bromides are rife with contradictions and difficulties; they're utterly froward, meet no objective criteria, and are unsuited for a supposedly educated population. And as if that weren't enough, if Nefolk2 got his way, he'd be able to lower scholastic standards. Brrrr! It sends chills down my spine just thinking about that. His cajoleries are not our only concern. To state the matter in a few words, people tell me that in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, many otherwise intelligent people continue to believe, thanks to Nefolk2, that he can change his villainous ways. And the people who tell me this are correct, of course. If he honestly believes that some of my points are not valid, I would love to get some specific feedback from him. I cannot compromise with Nefolk2; he is without principles. I cannot reason with him; he is without reason. But I can warn him, and with a warning he must clearly take to heart: What I just wrote is not based on merely a single experience or anecdote. Rather, it is based upon the wisdom of accumulated years, spanning two continents, and proven by the fact that it's easy enough to hate Nefolk2 any day of the week on general principles. But now I'll tell you about some very specific things that Nefolk2 is up to, things that ought to make a real Nefolk2-hater out of you. First off, he commonly appoints ineffective people to important positions. He then ensures that these people stay in those positions because that makes it easy for him to inaugurate an era of vindictive parasitism.

So what if Nefolk2 hates me for pointing out that under the guise of stimulating debate and illuminating diverse perspectives, his orations actually incite young people to copulate early, often, and indiscriminately? Let him hate me. I consider such hatred a mark of honor, a mark of distinction. You know what I mean? His vassals realize that if their aims were sufficiently revealed, an informed public would have the power to upset their well-laid plans. I've said that before and I've said it often, but perhaps I haven't been concrete enough or specific enough, so now I'll try to remedy those shortcomings. I'll try to be a lot more specific and concrete when I explain that the Nefolk2 Foundation's latest report on imperious, spineless vandalism is filled with fabrications, half-truths, innuendo, and guilt by association. An equal but opposite observation is that his list of sins is long and each one deserves more space than I have here. Therefore, rather than describe each one individually, I'll summarize by stating that you might say, "We must do what needs to be done if we are to raise issues, as opposed to guns or knives." Fine, I agree. But he is willing to promote truth and justice when it's convenient. But when it threatens his creature comforts, he throws principle to the wind. Let me end this letter by pointing out that the battle to provide you with vital information which Nefolk2 has gone to great lengths to prevent you from discovering is now joined on many fronts. We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter; and, we will not fail.
